Luna Park Melbourne

Origins
Luna Park is a historic amusement park located on the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay in St Kilda, Melbourne. It was built by American showman J.D. Williams, together with the Phillips brothers Harold, Leon, and Roy. The park was first opened on December 13th, 1912, with Mr Moon's giant mouth opening to St Kilda and thousands of people flocked into Melbourne's Luna Park for the first time. Since that day, St Kilda's famous Luna Park, the oldest theme park in Australia, has had millions of visitors who have enjoyed its rides and attractions.
